Ali has a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and is currently finishing up a master’s degree on previous orientation. From the master’s period, he found an interest in computational design. He likes the challenge of finding the fabrication possibilities and working on the material’s capabilities. He is also attention to recycling material in architecture.

  • 2018 Minimal Pavilion Babol, Iran
    • A digital fabrication experiment using the minimal surface concept to design a pavilion with the least materials and 2D fabrication machinery.
  • 2017 Harekat Pavilion Mazandaran, Iran
    • Invited as a member of the computational design and fabrication team, 10th Harekat Festival, University of Mazandaran.
  • 2016 Iron Shell Pavilion Tafresh, Iran
    • The final project of the first CDX workshop on the gridshell structures and fabrication methods.
  • 2013 Cardboard Wall Tafresh, Iran
    • An attempt to convert a specific flat sheet of cardboard to a three-dimensional form by making changes only in the cut.

    • Concept design for yard canopies of Transit book café with modular technique using steel, plywood, and fabric.
  • 2019 Science and Technology Park Arak, Iran
    • Conceptual design of the entrance structure of building no 1, in the new site.
  • 2016 Gereh Chini(arranging the knots) Arak, Iran
    • Working in a carpentry workshop to make this traditional Persian handicraft.
